A 2WD row-crop tractor from the New Generation series is the John Deere 2010. Between 1960 and 1965, John Deere produced this tractor in Dubuque, Iowa, in the United States.
One of two engines—a 2.7 L (165.1 cu in) four-cylinder diesel engine or a 2.4 L (144.5 cu in) four-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine—and the Syncro-Range transmission with 8 forward and 3 backward gears were utilized in the John Deere tractor of 2010.
The JD 2010 has differential mechanical dry disc brakes, manual or power (optional) steering, an open operator station, and a gasoline tank capacity of 60.6 liters (16 US gal.; 13.3 Imp. gal.).
