Chipotle in its official allergen guide states that —

  • Since all Chipotle gluten-containing products contain wheat, the Wheat and Gluten categories have been combined.
  • All sulphites in Chipotle foods are made from vinegar. Vinegar is naturally low in sulphites (10 ppm) which is required to be listed as an ingredient under federal law. We chose to label any items containing vinegar as allergens in order to be transparent and help customers with severe sensitivities.
  • Chipotle does not use eggs in their food, except for breakfast locations.

Soybean oil almost always comes from genetically modified soybeans. However, there is no commercially-available GMO sunflower oil.

Does Chipotle fry in peanut oil?

Rice bran oil is our primary cooking oil at Chipotle.
