Takeuchi US states that the Takeuchi TB260 compact hydrostatic excavator’s most distinctive feature is its exterior.
It is the Takeuchi TB260 version is a brand-new model. It weighs less than 12,500 pounds. It comes with an extended digging arm which is strengthened for durability and comes with an integral thumb mount.
The new model can dig up to 12 feet 9.4 ins and reach 20 feet 6.9 ins.
The TB260’s Tier 4-Final Yanmar 4TNV86CT Diesel engine is powered by 47.6 net horsepower. It also features an automatic-idle system which reduces engine speed when the hydraulic functions are inactive.
This helps to lower both fuel consumption as well as engine-sound levels. Takeuchi says that the TB260’s engine has an ECO Mode which results in additional fuel savings.
It also allows for customizing performance according to the application.
