The Kawasaki FS730V vertical engine was used in the John Deere X570 lawn tractor. The Kawasaki FS730V is a compact, vertical-shaft, 726 ccs (44.3 cu-in) V-twin, air-cooled, 4-stroke internal combustion engine.
The FS730V features a vertical PTO shaft, overhead V-valves, cast iron cylinder liners, and a spherical combustion chamber in a 90-degree V-twin configuration. 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 76.0 mm (2.99 in) are the respective sizes of the bore and stroke. 8.2:1 is the compression ratio rating.
At 3,600 rpm, the Kawasaki FS730V generated 24 HP (17.9 kW).
The Kanzaki K72B belt-driven hydrostatic gearbox (infinite forward and reverse), wet disc brakes, mechanical rear differential lock, and manual steering are all included with the John Deere X570 tractor.
